Tips, Tools & Technology

I often get asked, "Do I have to have a Google Chromebook to access my account?" The answer is, "No".  Your Google user name and password can be used via the web to access all the Google Apps and your saved bookmarks.  In order to access your Google Drive, Google Calendar , other apps from your PC, you simply type "www.google.com", in the address box, press "enter". You will see a gray box, identified as "Sign In", click this once. You will then be prompted to enter your district Google user name and password.  It only takes a couple minutes for your bookmarks to sync to your computer. Make sure once you are finished, you log out of your account.   See this quick clip on how to access your Google Account for additional clarification.

Happy Googling.

  1. I want to recommend an app for lower grade teachers. I added iStorybook yesterday. I was afraid that I would have to pay for books, but was pleasantly surprised. It has some really good books . It will also read the books.
