Google Leadership Symposium

Fairfield County School District is hosting in collaboration with Google, a Leadership Symposium on October 8, 2014 in Winnsboro, SC.



Symposium Details:

What: Google Superintendent & Curriculum Leadership Symposium  
When:  Wednesday, October 8, 2014 - 8:15AM-3:30PM
Where: Fairfield County School District Office 
1226 US Highway 321 By-Pass South
Winnsboro, SC 29180
Who should attend: Each district may bring 3 attendees (recommended: Superintendent, Curriculum Director, and Tech Director)
Agenda Highlights:

  • Keynote: Fairfield’s Path to 1:1 with Chromebooks
  • Overview of Google’s Vision for Education
  • Applying Google[X]-design thinking to make 10x changes in education
  • Classroom Visits: technology in action


We look forward to sharing best practices from 1:1, shared cart and BYOD implementations across South Carolina, and to learning from others in attendance. Additionally, given the large interest in the state in Chromebooks and Google Apps, we will be tailoring sessions for curriculum integration best practices, classroom visits, and design thinking.
